The menthol powers of this sticky goo
Can help you breathe, give relief to you.
I followed her orders to the letter
Sure this cure would make me better.
No need to turn the night light on
I could reach the jar, disturb no-one.
I unscrewed the lid, dipped my fingers in
Spread a liberal amount up to my chin.
Yet something smelled yeasty, so I turned on the light
To discover my chest lathered with brown marmite!
