I’m eggbrendaburgar of course
So dip me in your fruity sauce.
Spread me thick with mayonnaise
Taste me in the hollandaise.
Smother me with petits filous
Suck me like a penny chew.
Wash me down with ginger beer,
Grenadine or Bombadier.
Roast me, toast me or stir fry.
Quench me when I’m feeling dry.
Pick me from the salad bowl
Eat me raw and eat me whole.
Cut me like a piece of brie,
Camembert ou la vache qui rie.
I am the apple in the pie
Love me tender till I die.
